Dan
discussed this with David Berry, head of the DRMS coal program, and David decided that these two
larger areas are too large to be treated as SAEs. These two areas are the 9.8 -acre corner of the shop area
and the 7.2 -acre area outside Deer Draw.
Please develop an alternative plan to the current Collom design to remove these areas from the disturbed
area or route runoff from these areas to sediment ponds. You will need to resubmit the associated
figures, text, and SEDCAD runs.
Please contact me at Rob.Zuber @state.co.us or 303 - 866 -3567 (extension 8113) with questions or
comments.
Sincerely,
Robert D.
