Colowyo Coal Company <br />2011 Annual Reclamation and Hydrology Report <br />RULE REQUIREMENT <br />None Apply <br />SECTION 11- TOPSOIL VOLUME INVENTORY <br />GENERAL DISCUSSION <br />Starting in 2007, Section 11 of the Annual Report presents a summary of topsoil <br />stockpile volumes, a table showing the replacement depth for each reclamation <br />polygon, and an adjusted version of permit Table 2.05 -1 (based off numbers reported <br />in this annual report). This table has been updated to present the topsoil balance as of <br />December of the report year. Please see Figures 11 -1 through 11 -5. <br />A variable topsoil replacement depth was approved under technical revision 82 and <br />was implemented in the field in 2010. Verification of the variable depths for topsoil <br />replacement will be included in the annual report. Figure 11 -5 contains verification <br />information for the report year and previous years, and areas verified are shown on <br />Exhibit 11. Figure 11 -5 replaces Figure 11 -1; however, Figure 11 -1 has been included <br />for historical data prior to variable topsoil replacement depths. <br />Page 11 -1 <br />
