Sections <br />77.1100 of Part 77 of CFR 30 states, "firefighting facilities and equipment shall be provided <br />commensurate with the potential fire hazards at each structure, enclosure, and other facility at the <br />mine, and employees at such facilities shall be instructed and trained annually in the use of such <br />firefighting facilities and equipment. Each operator of a mine shall establish and keep curzent a <br />specific escape and evacuation plan to be followed in the event of a fire.
