EXHIBIT H
WILDLIFE INFORMATION
This exhibit contains the wildlife information for the Mine Life Extension 2. Information
required by Exhibit H is contained in the Project Description, primarily in Section 4.7, in
Volume I of this application. The Project Description describes significant wildlife
resource in the permit area; and threatened, endangered, sensitive, and candidate species
that may occur in the general area. In addition, discussions of wildlife protection are
included in Section 5.0 Mining and Operations Management Plan, Section 6.0 High
Grade Ore Mill, Section 7.0 Valley Leach Facilities, 8.0 Precious Metals Recovery.
Appendix 3 in Volume III contains a detailed discussion of wildlife inventories and
literature reviews.
The Colorado Division of Wildlife ( "DOW ") has been notified by Cripple Creek &Victor
Gold Mining Company of the proposed Mine Life Extension 2. CC &V has reviewed the
Mine Life Extension 2 with the local DOW representative, Ms. Tonya Sharp, and has
incorporated her comments into the Project Description (see attached email record of the
meeting). In addition, CC &V has prepared and implemented a Wildlife Protection Plan
that is part of standard operating procedures for the Cresson Project. This Plan has been
updated based on discussions held during the DOW meeting. Cripple Creek & Victor
Gold Mining Company will continue to coordinate with the DOW on the proposed
project changes.
