Supplemental Soil Samples
On March 1, 2011 Jim Stover used a 3 -inch soil auger to collected a soil sample from an
area south of the permit boundary. Samples were collected in 6 -inch increments for a
total depth of 36- inches. The samples were shipped to Inter- Mountain Labs located in
Sheridan, WY. The results of the soil analyses show that the top six inches of topsoil is
marginally suitable for salvage. This soil sample provides confirmation of the poor
quality of topsoil in the area.
