2.10 MAPS AND PLANS <br />2.10.2 Permit and Adjacent Area <br />The Surface Facilities Map No. 16, shows the areas where the surface <br />facilities will be constructed. All of the surface facilities are to be constructed <br />beginning in 2011. <br />(a) No surface coal mining operations have occurred within the permit and <br />adjacent area. <br />2.10.3 Specific Information Requirements <br />(1)(a) The boundaries of lands and names of present owners of record of the <br />surface lands included in or contiguous to the permit area are presented on <br />Map 2 in Volume II. Subsurface ownership is not presented since this permit <br />application is for a unit train loadout and no coal mining will be conducted. <br />(1)(b) The boundaries of land within the proposed permit area upon which the <br />applicant has the legal right to enter and begin surface or underground <br />mining activities are presented on the Surface Ownership Map No. 2. The <br />Applicant has a thirty foot wide easement for Haul Road #1 that extends from <br />15 Road to the eastern edge of CAM's property. The easement crosses <br />property owned by Fruita Development, LLC. There is a portion of the permit <br />boundary that is on Union Pacific Railroad's right of way. All other lands <br />within the permit boundary are owned by the Applicant. <br />(1)(c) The boundaries of all areas proposed to be affected overthe estimated total <br />life of the loadout activities are presented on Maps 3, 4 and 19. <br />(1)(d) There are several buildings within 1,000 feet of the proposed permit area. <br />They are shown on the Hydrologic Monitoring Locations Map, Map No. 8, <br />Volume Il. <br />(1)(e) There are fences within, passing through, or passing over the proposed <br />permit area. There is one subsurface abandonded pipe that passes through <br />the proposed permit area.
