NOTICE OF FILING AMENDMENT APPLICATION <br />FOR COLORADO MINED LAND RECLAMATION PERMIT <br />M- 1980 -244, CRESSON PROJECT, MINE LIFE EXTENSION 2 <br />NOTICE TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br />OF THE LOCAL SOIL CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />(PARK- TELLER COUNTIES SOIL CONSERVATION DISTRICT) <br />NATIONAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE, TELLER COUNTY <br />800 Research Drive, Suite 100 <br />Woodland Park, CO 80863 <br />Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company ( "the Operator ") has applied for an <br />amendment to an existing 112d Designated Mining Operation reclamation permit from <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board ( "the Board ") to conduct further mining <br />and reclamation operations in Teller County. The attached information is being provided <br />to notify you of the location and nature of the proposed operation. The entire application <br />is on file with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ( "the Division "), the <br />Teller County Clerk and Recorder, and the public libraries in Cripple Creek, Victor, <br />Florissant and Woodland Park. <br />The Operator proposes to extend the mine life by expanding approved mine facilities and <br />constructing new processing facilities. The Operator proposes to reclaim the affected <br />land to livestock grazing and wildlife habitat consistent with that previously approved. <br />Pursuant to C.R.S. § 34- 32- 116(7)0), the Board is required to confer with the local Soil <br />Conservation District before approving of the post - mining land use. Accordingly, the <br />Board would appreciate your comments on the proposed post - mining land use. Please <br />note that, in order to preserve your right to a hearing before the Board on this application, <br />you must submit written comments on the application within twenty (20) days of the last <br />date of the Operator's newspaper publication of notice of the application. <br />If you would like to discuss the proposed post- mining land use, or any other issue <br />regarding this application, please contact the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866 -3567. <br />Acknowledgement of Receipt: <br />By <br />Title so•'1 co.- , <br />Date y26t2 <br />
