Schwartzwalder Mine Permit Amendment Application <br />EXHIBIT T - Designated Mining Operation Environmental Protection Plan <br />The Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) for the Schwartzwalder Mine was submitted to the Division of <br />Reclamation Mining and Safety (Division) in July 2010 under Permit Amendment Application 2 (AM -02). <br />The Division suspended its review of AM -02 on August 15, 2011 and resumed its review on January 31, <br />2012. The operator requires an expansion of the mine permit area to achieve the mitigation goals stated in <br />the EPP and Technical Revision 18 and to meet Division requirements for new monitoring wells, even <br />though the Division has not fully approved the July 2010 EPP. <br />February 29, 2012 21 <br />
