SENECA II-W HYDROLOGIC DESCRIPTION
• PREFACE
Tab 7 Organization
Until 1998, Tab 7 of the Seneca II-W permit application package (PAP( was a single section,
presenting information from the original baseline studies (with information provided up to
October 31, 19891 plus the inclusion of selected ground water level data up to October 31,
1993. For the Seneca II-W South permit revision, Tab 7 was divided into two separate
sections; Sections 7.1 and 7.2. Section 7.1 contains the entire contents of Teb 7 from the
previously approved PAP. Section 7.2 contains updated information for the Seneca II-W South
Extension area. To avoid altering an approved, historic document, the only aspects of the
former baseline text that have been edited or updated are this preface and the Table of
contents for Tab 7. In addition, updates were made to four appendices as follows: 7-2
(Ground Water Level Reports and Hydrographsl, 7-4 (Ground Water Quality Data), 7-7 (Spring
Water Quality Dotal, and 7-10 (Surface Water Quality Dotal. Finally, Exhibit 7-1 (Hydrology
Monitoring Mapl was updated to depict new monitoring site locations and is entitled 7-1 A.
Seneca Coal Company (SCC) instituted in 1995 a new monitoring site numbering system for its
• new Paradox •"' water quality database. This new system is detailed in Table A.
•
P-i Revised 9/98
