Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a revision for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. <br />The revision was called complete on February 17, 2012. The decision due date is April 17, 2012. <br />J. E. Stover and Associates, on behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, is proposing to expand Coal Mine <br />Gob Pile #2. The existing hillside slope to the west of the gob pile will be increased to 1.5h:ly <br />slope, the West Diversion Ditch #2 will be relocated to the toe of the slope and the waste pile will <br />expand to fill in the void created by the steeper slope. The disturbed area will increase by 1.8 acres <br />for an addition storage capacity of 65,000 cy.
