With reservoir water level fluctuations and routine
slope maintenance, revegetation of the reservoir shorelines with a moisture dependent grass seed
mix is not practical. Other regarded areas not exposed to frequent flooding or seasonal
groundwater inundation will be seeded mainly with upland grasses. The mixture below was
selected to be long lasting and regenerating. Based on the soils in the area, the following upland
seed mixture is recommended:
In areas where wetlands could potentially be developed, the seed mix will be modified to include
more transition and wetland grasses and grass -like species. These seed mixes, especially if
standing water or saturated soils exist during planting, will likely need to be broadcast.
Greeley 25 Avenue Site
DRMS 112 Permit Amendment Application Page 27
