Brian Watterson of Peabody accompanied the <br /> inspection. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> No problems were observed with fugitive dust. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05: <br /> Due to the cold weather(below freezing),no snow melt runoff was observed during the inspection. <br /> Two NPDES points were inspected: the 5D dewatering system(NPDES point 003) and site I SP(NPDES point <br /> 022). Both were discharging, and the water flowing from them was clear with no signs of pollutants. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br /> The mine was found to be in general compliance with the permit. <br /> ROADS —Rule 4.03: <br /> No problems were observed with roads or culverts. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The refuse pile was inspected and no sign of gullies,large bare spots, or other problems was observed. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> No problems were observed at the 5A portal. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
