Ridley Gravel Pit (M- 2005 -039) <br />Exhibit D — Mining Plan <br />(Revised 0912112005 as per adequacy review letter <br />Mining and earth moving will be done entirely by front -end loader. <br />No water will be used for the mining operation with all mining being conducted <br />well above the water table. <br />One (1) to two (2) acres of the permitted area will be worked at each stage of <br />operations. Material will be stockpiled on site to be removed at a later date by <br />truck. <br />The timetable for each stage is estimated to between 1 -2 years with the size of <br />the area being mined to be a maximum of 2 acres. Each stage of production will <br />conform with the directional pattern as set forth in the mining plan map. <br />Mining will consist of rock, sand and gravel with the mining depth being an <br />average of 8 to 10 feet. <br />The extracted materials will be used on Bent County road surfaces. <br />No explosives will be used in the mining process. <br />The following is added: <br />Topsoil will be removed by front -end loader, blade and truck and stockpiled in the <br />previously disturbed areas. All topsoil will be salvaged. <br />
