Whitney Irrigation Ditch Company) <br />Dear Mark: <br />ACWWA has decided to renew the captioned water, previously leased by Mr. & Mrs. George Hall, for the 2012 water year. You <br />have indicated Bestway Concrete & Aggregate will be leasing this water in 2012 instead of the Halls. If this is not correct, please <br />notify me immediately. <br />We will be changing the format somewhat on the lease for 2012 in order to both simplify and expedite the leasing process. The <br />lease will require a payment due upon execution of the lease, plus any special or extra ditch assessments which may arise later in <br />the year. Once the lease is prepared, we will schedule an appointment so we can get together with you to execute the lease. I <br />hope to have this accomplished later this month. <br />Please keep in mind the water rights you will be leasing have future dry-up considerations you may wish to consider when <br />making your plans for 2012. If you plan to ultimately seed the dry-up acreage to a permanent dryland grass seed mix, utilization <br />of the water to establish the grass will certainly enhance the likelihood of success. Please advise as to how you plan to handle <br />the dry-up if it is applicable. <br />Further, we may have additional water available for 2012, 1 list of which is attached. If you are interested in leasing this <br />additional water, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make appropriate arrangements. <br />We will be in touch soon to get a lease to you for your review, and get them executed and in place as early in 2012 as possible. In <br />the interim, we wanted to let you know the water would be available so you can proceed with making plans for the 2012 <br />farming season. <br />If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of these matters, please let me know as soon as possible.
