I arrived at the King 11 site at 1:30 p.m., and <br />was met by Tom Bird, Manager of Coal Services. Mr. Bird introduced me to Barbara Hodgson, <br />from GCC's Pueblo, CO office; she happened to be at the site to conduct an inspection, also. <br />Ms. Hodgson has replaced Jose' Madera as the Environmental Manager for this mine. Two <br />representatives of Souder, Miller & Associates (SMA) were also on site. GCC has contracted <br />with SMA to update the Storm Water Management Plan(s) (SWMPs) for the King Coal Mine. <br />These four people accompanied me on a walking inspection of the surface facilities at King 11. l <br />made a brief visit alone to the King I site, following completion of the King 11 portion of the <br />inspection. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />Installation of the new 400 Ton per Hour screen has been completed, and the screen was <br />operating at the time of the inspection (Photo 1). The CDPHE Air Pollution Control Division <br />issued Construction Permit No. I ILP3252 on Nov. 30, 2011 for this new screen.
