Box 20,000 <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />Re: Fruita Loadout (Permit No. C- 2010 -088) <br />New Permit Application - Proposed Decision <br />Dear Mesa County Commissioners: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve with <br />conditions an application for a coal mining and reclamation permit, i.e. a coal loadout and railroad <br />spur facility. The application was submitted by CAM- Colorado, LLC on September 22, 2010, for <br />the Fruita Loadout. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this <br />proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request <br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first <br />publication of this notice in the The Daily Sentinel. <br />The Fruita Loadout facility is located approximately 3 miles northwest of Fruita, Colorado and is <br />further described as follows: <br />Township 1 North, Range 3 West, Ute P.M., all or portions of Sections 2, 3,10, and 11. <br />Copies of the permit application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above <br />address and at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
