MANAGEMENT
On behalf of CAM COLORADO LLC, enclosed is one copy of its Notice of Termination for
a Discharge Permit Application (COG850000).
The application was sent on October 21, 2011. A discharge permit is no longer necessary
as there will be no industrial discharge from the sediment ponds, per a United States Fish
and Wildlife (USFWS) Biological Opinion rendered in November 2031. After a phone
conversation with Kathy Rosrow on January 3, 2012, it was determined CAM's stormwater
runoff would be adequately covered by the Stormwater discharge permit already issued
(Permit #COR011467). Since the USFWS Biological Opinion prohibits discharge into Reed
Wash, the appropriate action is to withdraw the permit application.
Please call if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
TammBishop,
P roject Engineer
Cc: DBMS - Mike Boulay (electronically)
CAM Colorado - Corey Heaps (electronically)
