cover the hole, and a labeled stake marks the location until logging is complete and the hole
abandoned.
Most drill sites with rig and support vehicles have a footprint of less than 15 feet x 100 feet and
will be directly on existing roads, trails, and open areas. Some sites may require improvement
for access which is in accordance with the landowners wishes. Assuming a worst case scenario
with a maximum of 20% of the drill holes (10 of the 50 per phase) impacting 1500 square feet
each, the total site utilization at any time would be about 15,000 square feet; approximately one -
third acre. Continuous reclamation as soon as possible after drilling is a central part of
Nuvemco's plan. To progressively modify the drill hole locations, logging must occur frequently
to facilitate additional drilling based on mineralization before the rig leaves the area.
4. Amendment to Uranus Patented NOI
Nuvemco seeks to amend the NOI to include opening three adits on the Uranus Patented
Claim. One is currently open and the other two partially covered. If previous workings are
extensive, the adit will be collared and an approved locking gate with bat access will be
installed. No mining or bulk sampling will occur under this NOI. If the adit is not extensive
and /or dangerous, the adit will be re- buried and the location reclaimed. Existing waste rock and
soil will be placed over the abandoned adit and the site re- seeded in accordance with Exhibit C.
Maximum area of improvement for adit remediation is about 20 feet x 100 feet, or about 2000
square feet each.
This amendment alters several sections of the Application Form as follows:
III. Project Detail:
4. check adits
5. above description of disturbance
IV. Operation and Reclamation Measures:
5. adits to be reopened
Exhibit B — Maps
Map 5 — 1 inch = 500 feet, Aerial Photographic base with roads and potential drill
holes is included.
5. Total additional improved ground
In the event that each of these operations had the maximum area impacted at any given time,
the sum of areas would be:
1. Four contingency mud pits 1,200 ft
3. Continuous drill hole plugging and abandonment 15,000 ft
4. Three open adits 6,000 ft
Total maximum square footage 22,200 ft
Thus the total maximum impacted area to be improved will be about % acre.
