Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />R - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste N - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Janet Binns and Dan Hernandez of DRMS. The site was covered with <br />approximately 3 -5 inches of recent snow. The weather was sunny and warm, with snow melting occurring. The <br />Golden Eagle Mine is a reclaimed underground mine. The majority of the Golden Eagle pen has received <br />Phase III bond release. The remaining portion of the Golden Eagle permit consists of the reclaimed ventilation fan <br />and reclaimed access roads to the fan. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6, Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The reclaimed fan area was snow covered. No sediment ponds remain on site. Run off from the remaining <br />reclaimed area is treated through a small area exemption. Snow was melting into the soil and no runoff was <br />leaving the site.
