Pineda <br />Director <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to <br />Approve a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by <br />Seneca Coal Company, LLC on July 18, 2011, for the Seneca II -W Mine. Any person with an interest <br />which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by the Division in the <br />Steamboat Pilot. <br />The Surface mine is located approximately 9 miles South of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />T5N, R88W; All of Section 15; Portions of Sections 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 34, and 35 <br />T6N, R88W; Portions of Sections 14, 23 and 24 <br />T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 17, 18, 19 <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address <br />and at the Hayden Public Library.
