Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta E Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) have found the above referenced <br />report to be in compliance with CDRMS Regulations: 4.09.1(11) and 4.10.2(2). <br />The above referenced report was prepared by North West Colorado Consultants (NWCC) for <br />Twentymile Coal Company. NWCC visited the site on October 24, 2011, December 14, 2011 and on <br />December 29, 2011. Based on the report, NWCC did not observe any signs of instability, structural <br />weakness or hazardous conditions at the pile. These observations reflect observations with on -site <br />inspections conducted by the Division of the Waste Pile. The report states that the wash plants produced <br />approximately 307,382 tons of waste coal. On October 24 and December 14, 2011 a total of eight <br />compaction tests were conducted at the Expansion Area. All tests met the minimum compaction <br />requirement of 90% of the maximum standard Procter density. <br />As of the date of the report, no new stripping of topsoil and cover materials was conducted and no new <br />haul road construction had taken place. <br />If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
