The methane drainage borehole currently vents /pumps methane from the mine to the <br />atmosphere. When the methane utilization facility is operational a pipeline will connect the <br />two facilities. In the event that the methane utilization facility is not operational, what design <br />provisions are built in to allow the methane drainage borehole to continue to vent/pump <br />methane? <br />5. Please clarify in the Permit (Section 2.05.3 Item P) that the electricity being generated by the <br />methane utilization facility will be fed to the primary side of the Delta- Montrose Electric <br />Association sub - station (the grid) and that the electricity is not being used for any mine <br />related activities at the Elk Creek Mine. <br />6.
