Please provide an updated Exhibit 28 with corrected page numbers.
3 . Map 13 -Sheet 1 shows culvert C13 going straight from the DWDA across the river while it
appears that culvert C13 goes across the bridge southeast of the DWDA. If culvert C13's final
position is running across the bridge, please send an updated Map 13 -Sheet 1 showing this.
4 . From aerial photographs taken on November 28, 2011, it appears culvert C14 is buried or has
been removed. Please provide an explanation of the current status of culvert C14.
5 . It appears there is an additional culvert running between culvert C30 and C26 directing runoff
from C30 to C26. If so, please send revised pages to include this culvert. If there is no additional
culvert, please provide a description on how the runoff will leave culverts C30 and C14A and
drain into culvert C26.
6 . It appears that culvert C26 is positioned on top of an embankment within ditch Dil causing
water to pond before entering culvert C26. Please provide an explanation on whether culvert
C26 allows water to flow from ditch D11 directly into culvert C26 or if ponding does occur before
entering culvert C26.
7 . Please provide an explanation on how equipment hauling refuse to the temporary belt feeder
can exit or return in the event that they cannot unload. The Division respectfully requests that a
haul road loop or a turnaround section be added to allow haul trucks to return in the event they
can't unload.
8 . Please provide corrected page numbers for Exhibit 28.
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation
Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
