EMLQBAIIQK — An exploration permit is rendred and must be obtained before any field work of any <br />type or kind is tentiertabea. A restoration bond is required in conjtuictioa with this exploration Permit, <br />The bond required by the Colorado Mined Land Rechunatioe Division for eiononstion activities may be <br />substituted for this bond. The proposed type and method of exploration shall be oudined on the <br />appliestion for an exploration permit. <br />17. RLAMA11Oi4 — Rules sad regidations as set forth by the Colorado Milted Lend Raelamatioa Division <br />for recovery and restoration of mined land will apply where applicable to the lands leased herewith. All <br />11:41001i0O plans shall require approval by Lessor. <br />18. WATEjt RIGHTS — If Lessee initiates or establishes any wiser right where the point of diversion or <br />groundwater withdrawal is on the lased premise' s and where the surface is we by the State, such water <br />right mist be obtained in the name of and with the comae of the State acting by and through its Board <br />of Land Commissioners. Water rights and NV Improvement required to bring this water to the surface <br />shall become the property of the State, without cost, upon termination of this lease for any cause <br />whatsoever. <br />Under no circumstance may ground water be withdrawn without first having secured the permission of <br />Lessor and may not be withdrawn at it rate higher than necessary for the mining and/or processing of Stare <br />minerals only. Additional payment may be required for the use of any waters as may be defined as <br />tributary or non-tributary. <br />19. INSPECTION — ft is agreed that during all proper hours and at all times during the continuance of this <br />lease Lessor, or its duly authorized agent, shall be, and hereby is authorized to go through any of the <br />openings or workings on said premises, and to examine, inspect and survey the same and to examine and <br />make extracts or copies of all books and sheets which show in any way the output of the leases premises, <br />and that all cOnvwsiences necessary for said inspection, survey or examination shall be throbbed to Lessor, <br />or its agent. by Lessee. <br />20. apimaigs,R6la — It is agreed that Lessee, while using any drill on said premises during the term <br />of this lease, shall keep an AMMO log of all work so done and performed, showing the formations <br />penetrated, the depth of thickness of each, the character of each. their elevations, the location of same by <br />tying to corner of some legal subdivision or, in yawn* territory, to some beech mark or other <br />officially established point, established by the United States surveys, and each wet every thing necessary <br />to make and supply a perfect and complete log of the bole throughout its entire depth, a true copy of said <br />log shall be furnished Lessor when and at the time such holes are drilled or at any time thereafter upon <br />demand of Lessor. <br />21. *APS — Lessee shall provide Lessor with a map of the workings basin authorized to be made yearly by <br />an engineer or surveyor duly licensed by the State of Colorado. on a scale of not less than WI) feet to the <br />inch, showing the vertical and horizontal dimensions of all excavations, fills, stockpiles, and other <br />ditnubseces of the surface, by means of accurste contour lines (not more than two-foot interval) or <br />cross-sections, all to be correctly related to a base line which is properly located ie :ation to known <br />section lutes in the area; said map to show comity, section, township, and range, the name of the company <br />or operator, the North point, the scale to which the map is drawn and explanatory legend, sad the <br />certificate to the Use of the engineer or surveyor as to its accuracy.
