The permit boundary
separating Treiber Lakes from the Lafarge Home Office Pit (M- 1977 -439) has been marked with
T -posts approximately every 50 — 100 feet. Pictures of the eastern permit area and boundary
markers are attached. The ground was frozen during the marker installation, preventing
additional markers or barriers from being installed. It is the intent of the City of Greeley to
install additional markers and/or barriers when conditions become more favorable.
Additionally, pictures of the posted application notices are attached. The permanent sign at the
entrance is currently being printed, but will not be available by the requested December 23, 2011
corrective action due date. The sign will be in place by January 6, 2012 and we, therefore,
request an extension for the corrective action. A confirmation picture will be sent to your office
when the sign is in place.
If you have any questions regarding this application and adequacy comment responses, please do
not hesitate to call me at (970) 227 -2803.
Sincerely,
Blue Earth
Enclosures
BLUE EARTH
Response to Pre - Operation Inspection Report December 13,2011_
City of Greeley — Treiber Lakes, Permit No. M- 2011 -049
illiam Schenderlein, P.E.
Project Engineer
REC EIVED
‹C 27 2011
i f yivision of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
