RE: Request for Extension of the Decision Date for the Prince Albert Mine Limited Impact
110(d) Mining Reclamation Permit M- 2011 -040 Application.
Rimrock Exploration and Development, Inc. (Rimrock) is still completing its response to your
letter regarding the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division)
Preliminary Adequacy Review dated October 11, 2011 that requested additional information and
clarification regarding the application for Mining Reclamation Permit M -201 1 -040 Rimrock's
responses to the findings of the Preliminary Adequacy Review are being prepared in conjunction
with parallel discussions with Division staff over similar issues related to Technical Revision 02
to Permit M- 2005 -050 (J -Bird Mine).
Completion and submittal of the requested information, followed by an adequate review period
for Division staff will require an extension of the decision date beyond the current decision date
of December 15, 2011.
Rimrock requests a new decision date of January 31, 2012, depending on concurrence or an
alternate date established after consultation with the Division. Rimrock believes that a decision
date that is set at least 45 days from the current decision date of December 15 is necessary to
permit an adequate time period for additional comments and responses that may be generated
after the requested information is submitted in response to the Division's October 11 request.
