The topography previously submitted on Map <br />18 -1 is believed to be incorrect, and off by about 10 feet compared to the newer <br />topography. It is probable that the contours previously submitted for Map 18 -1 were <br />incorrect due to difficulty in generating contours for such a heavily wooded area. The <br />newer topography is believed to be more accurate because the heavy brush and large <br />boulders were cleared away during construction in 2007. As demonstrated on new Map <br />18 -1, the pre and post mining sections have relatively the same shape as the previously <br />submitted Map 18 -1, but the newer sections are approximately 10 feet higher in <br />elevation. <br />Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. <br />J.
