Exhibit F of the 1996 permit amendment depicts the final reclamation contours gradually dipping
to the southeast from elevation 5220 ft to elevation 5090 ft at Eight Mile Creek. Due to geologic
conditions, several rock benches were encountered during mining that will result in a gradual
stepped slope from the existing 5220 contours to Eight Mile Creek.
Lafarge intends to reclaim Mine Phase III to the following conditions described in Exhibit B:
• All slopes will be reclaimed at a 3H:1 V final grade.
• The two abandoned fresh water ponds will be sloped at 3H:1V
• Water will drain freely through the soils to Eight Mile Creek
• The general site grade will be to the west toward Eight Mile Creek.
• Topsoil will be placed as stated in the MLRB Permit Amendment
• Vegetation will be re- established as stated in the MLRB Permit Amendment
Included is a check for the technical revision application fee of $188.00.
