Costilla St. <br />Colorado Springs, CO 80903 <br />Re: Pueblo East Pit, Permit No. M- 1986 -015, Amendment Approval, Revision No. AM -4 <br />Dear Mr. Laroche: <br />On December 12, 2011 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Amendment application submitted <br />to the Division on September 12, 2011, addressing the following: <br />Addition of a mining and reclamation plan to affected land in Phase 7 area and an amendment to the reclamation <br />plan in Phase 2. This amendment adds 28.0 acres south of Arkansas River to Permit Boundary and increases the <br />disturbed area by 54 acres. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 4 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M- 1986 -015. All <br />other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M -1986 -015 remain in full force and effect. <br />The estimated liability amount of $3,233,162.00 exceeds the $2,868,162.00 performance bond currently held. If you have <br />not already done so, please submit additional bond in the amount of $365,000.00. The revision will not be final until the <br />bond is approved by the Division.
