Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />N - Other <br />N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />N - Processing Waste <br />Y - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a partial inspection of the Keenesburg Mine, DRMS File No. C-198 1 -028_ I, Jared Fbert of the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Danny Kipp and Don MacDonald of Coors <br />Energy Company (CEC) as well as Mike Savage, the Operators consultant accompanied me during the inspection_ <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br />Sediment Pond 2 and the Dugout Pond were observed during the inspection. The southeast and the northeast <br />inlet/outlet structures of Sediment Pond 2 were in place and stable. Several discharge hoses were noted at the <br />southeast corner of Sediment Pond 2. These hoses connect to the Dugout pond in order for the Operator to be able <br />to pump water from Sediment Pond 2 into the Dugout Pond. Both ponds were covered in snow. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br />According to Mr. Kipp, four loads of ash had been delivered to the site today. The ash has been dumped and <br />graded out into the pit. The operation was found to be in general compliance with the permit. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />The road from the shop facilities to Sediment Pond 2, the B Pit and from the B pit south and east to the A -1 and B- <br />1 stockpiles was observed during the inspection. The roads were graded and maintained and the roadside ditches <br />were in good shape. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclaimed lands were snow covered, however no problems were observed. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Fear: 4 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
