EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
a) After the mining is completed the 19.06 acre Fairbanks Pit will be returned to
rangeland, which will be achieved by using dozers, loaders and graders. We will
use this equipment to achieve a 3:1 slope or less with uniform landscaping.
b) The land surrounding the Fairbanks Pit is rangeland.
c) The topsoil will be segregated and stockpiled on the property within the
d) Boundary, where it will remain until the reclamation process begins. Overburden
material will be used to achieve a maximum gradient slope of 3:1. Topsoil will
then be spread over all the affected areas at a depth of 2 -6 ". Seed will then be
broadcast and drug into the soil. See the attached see mix design along with the
quantities.
e) Reclamation will be done when the mining phase is completed. The reclamation
process will take place in the fall and if needed re- seeding will take place in the
spring or early summer of the following year. The area to be reclaimed is 19.06
acres and will take 1 -3 months to complete and possibly up to one year to allow
proper re- growth.
f)
(i)
(ii)
The maximum slope gradient will be 3:1
Soil replacement and seeding will be completed once the mining
has been completed. Topsoil will be replaced at a depth of at least
2 -6 inches. The following proposed seed mixture will be drilled as
per NRCS recommendation:
Species Rate (lbs / acre PLS)
Timothy 0.5
Orchardgrass 1.0
Green Needlegrass 2.0
Tall Fescue 1.5
Western Wheatgreass 2.5
Alsike Clover 1.0
White Dutch Clover 1.0
Total 9.5
The existing haul road will not be ripped or seeded.
(iii) Fertilization — N/A
(iv) Re- vegetation of Trees and Shrubs — N/A
(v) Topsoil will be spread at a depth of 2 -6"
