TEXT:
EXHIBIT F -1 (PAGE3)
Location:
The Limestone Pit No. 10 is approximately 53 miles west of Craig, Colorado. The
directions to the project are shown on Exhibit B. Please take note that the GPS
numbers and the Primary Mining Zone information on Exhibit B is superseded by Exhibit
F -1 (page 1).
Access:
The new entrance sign is marked on Exhibit F -1 (page 1) at the intersection of the new
haul road and County Road No. 10. The new GPS coordinates are N40.55784 degrees
and W108.41746 degrees. These new access coordinates supersede those posted on
Exhibit C — Text.
Haul Road:
The topsoil at the new haul road was stripped and hauled to the topsoil pile east of the
new Crusher Pad No. 2.
Blasting Zone #2:
The proposed Limestone Resource Area is the 6.26 acre shaded area shown in
diagram form on Page 1 of Exhibit F -1. This is a theoretical plan that could produce
approximately 200,000 cubic yards of crushed limestone leaving 3:1 slopes (or flatter)
and mining an average of 10 feet deep.
6.26 x 43560 x 10' = 100,994.67 Cubic Yards (200,000 cu /yds rounded).
27
Life of the Mine:
Moffat County's Mining Plan is to crush approximately 15,000 cu /yds of limestone once
every five years. That means the Road Department will haul and apply roughly 3,000
cu /yds of construction materials to local road construction sites each year. The
proposed 6.26 acre Limestone Resource Area in Blasting Zone #2 would last over 60
years if mined only 10 feet deep. Moffat County will leave open the possibility of
increasing the production of construction materials in future years if necessary.
Blasting Zone #1
Moffat County will not mine limestone, or develop roads in Blasting Zone #1 without first
securing a modification of this Amended Reclamation Plan Map.
