The October 2011 Discharge
Monitoring Report for the above referenced CDPS Permit was received by the Division on 01 December
2011; the reports cover the time period from 01 October 2011 through 31 October 2011.
During the month of October only outfall 005A/005W /MON5 (Pond D) permitted under COG - 0027154
flowed. No exceedances were noted.
It is noted that the October DMR that, due to an oversite, recoverable iron was run only once in the
month rather than the required twice per month.
Based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
and the Water Quality Control Division (WQCD), the WQCD will be responsible for enforcing CDPS
permit conditions.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
