15.) There are man made structures on this section of land. As definer by "Mineral rules and <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Extraction of Construction Materials," <br />Amended May 2004, under Page 11 within Construction Materials Rule 1: witch states that, "Structure, <br />Significant. Valuable and Permanent Man -made means a non - portable improvement to real property which has <br />defined, current and recognizable value of an economic nature; generally including but not limited to: <br />buildings, houses, barns, fences, above or below ground utilities, Irrigation ditches, maintained or public road, <br />railroad tracks, cemeteries, communication antennas, pipelines, water wells, water storage structures, <br />discharge and conveyance structures, etc." <br />All man made structures will be addressed in the DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, <br />MINING AND SAFETY MLRB Permit. A copy of "Mineral rules and <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Extraction of <br />Construction Materials," Amended May 2004 can be found at the DIVISION OF <br />RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY website www. mining.state.co.us. <br />The Man Made Structure Consists Of Existing Roads And Ranch Fencing. <br />I6.) 61.20 +I- acres are proposed for this Special Use Permit application. The I IOc <br />Limited Impact Permit for this mine site rock picking operation will be 9.9 acres or less. <br />17.) Affected acres may be a total of +1- 61.20 acres, however mining (rock picking) <br />and reclamation will be carried out in stages no larger than 9.9 Acres. Please see <br />attached mining map. <br />18.) Proposed hours of operation are from Sunrise to Sunset Monday - Friday, year <br />round. <br />19.) Estimated life of operation is difficult to forecast, however we believe this mine will <br />have an economic Life of 5 to 7 years depending on the local market conditions. The <br />applicant is asking for a Life of the Mine Special Use Permit (SUP), meaning that the <br />SUP will terminate after the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety releases the <br />Financial Warranty Bond that guarantee that the reclamation is complete. <br />20.) Main shift employees will be between 3 to 5 people depending upon the time of the <br />year and the number of orders that arc to be filled. <br />21.) The proposed haul route would be out of the mine (rock picking site) on going cast <br />County Road 248 the connect to County Road 257 heading south then east on <br />Mariposa then south on County Road 265 to Zorn Road the heading east to Boulder <br />Avenue then head north to State Highway 165. A map of haul route is provided in this <br />application packet. <br />22.) The number of vehicle trips per day would he on average of 2 to 6. A trip is defined <br />in this application follows: A vehicle leatving the site and tlien returning counts as two <br />trips. Thus if the operator has I trucks hauling making I round trips per day that would <br />be 2 loads. Thus, the applicant is expecting to have I to 3 haul vehicles running at most <br />per day. <br />23.) Hours of hauling would depend upon the time of the year, however it would <br />normally start around 6:00 A.M. and run to approximately 6:011 P.M. during operation. <br />24.) Dust control will be accomplished with water trucks on the haul road and the <br />processing plant site. <br />25.) Proof of Water: <br />a. Bottled water will be brought in for drinking water. <br />b.
