OBSERVATIONS
PERMIT #: P- 2009 -033
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: RCO
INSPECTION DATE: November 30, 2011
This was a financial warranty release inspection conducted by the Division for a minerals prospecting project
(NOI). The prospector had reported that all reclamation had been completed. The release request included a
map and recent photos, showing clean -up and reclamation of the four drill sites involved in the project. The
prospector was not present during the inspection. The project was located on private land, and the BLM was
not involved in the project review or reclamation.
The four drill pads, located along short spur trails in the juniper -oak scrub, were located and identified at the
project site. All drill holes had been closed and the pad surfaces graded. There was no drilling - related debris
or contaminants. All cuttings and drilling mud were removed. Some brush and rocks had been respread on
the trails and drill pads. Revegetation consisted of seeded grasses that have become established, plus other
native vegetation that was resprouting throughout the sites. Revegetation was sparse, but adequate since it
corresponded overall to the thinly vegetated surrounding area.
There was no evidence of uncontrolled runoff or sedimentation, or of weediness on the disturbed surfaces.
Numerous wild turkey tracks were observed on several of the drill pad sites.
It is this inspector's opinion that the prospector has fulfilled all reclamation requirements as described in the
NOI plan, and that the release request should be approved. A formal approval letter and the returned bond
will be sent to the prospector under separate cover.
For questions related to this report, please contact this inspector at the Division's Durango Field Office:
DRMS — Durango Field Office
691 CR 233, Room A -2
Durango, CO 81301
Tel: 970 - 247 -5193
Inspection Contact Address:
Michael Leidich
Colorado Plateau Partners LLC
2030 Foothills Dr.
Golden, CO 80401
