Pineda <br />Director <br />At the request of Snowcap Coal Company, Inc., the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety (DRMS) is sending this letter to address the Sediment Control Plan requirement set <br />forth by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). Part 1.A.2 of <br />Snowcap Coal Company's Discharge Permit C00027146 states that a Sediment Control Plan <br />approved by the DRMS will be required to satisfy ELG requirement of Sediment Control Plan <br />and that notification of such approval shall be submitted to the CDPHE. <br />Please be advised that Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. (SCC) has current and up to date Sediment <br />Control Plans for Outfalls 005A (Pond 9), 007A (Pond 13), 008A (Pond 8), 011A (Pond 6), <br />0 1 2A (Pond 7), 013A (Pond 10) and 014A (Pond 11) as part of their approved Mining Permit - <br />Coal, No. C- 1981 -041. The sedimentation control information is located in Tabs 13 and 14 of <br />the permit document and can be viewed at our offices at 101 South 3` Suite 301, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado or 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 in Denver, Colorado.
