The quarry has reach permit depths only in the northwest corner.
• Currently we have approximately 24 acres of quarry opened to mining. We
have not opened any additional acres as intended do to the economy.
• We still are not ready to relocate the existing pond on the south east side of
the quarry.
Western Aggregates TXI is currently keeping up with slopping of the north
northwest side of the quarry as we move in the southerly direction. We will keep
moving in this direction in the year to come as the economy picks up.
Western Aggregates will continue to address the Knapp weed problem as in the
past. We have started spraying for the Knapp weed on our own. This will include all
of TXI Boulders leased and fee property.
We will enclose pictures of our Quarry area as in the past.
Revised 11/10/04
RECEIVED
NOV 302011
Division of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
Plant Mgr.
Randy Moulton
303 - 499 -1010 ext. 3Q38
E 03
