Box 187 <br />Craig, CO 81626 <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -010) <br />Adequacy of Bond Release Application No. 12 (SL -12) <br />Dear Mr. Luke: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) has reviewed TMI application SL -12 and does <br />have some adequacy concerns that must be resolved before our proposed decision is issued. <br />First, we ask that parcel A -C -05 be removed from the application, and revegetation success be <br />recalculated by TMI without this parcel. This will also require that maps be redrawn as necessary. Please <br />review the enclosed memorandum from Jared Ebert of DRMS for more detailed discussion on the <br />vegetation review, which includes, but is not limited to, a discussion of parcel A -C -05. <br />Furthermore, the Sediment Demonstration should be revised to reflect updates to the post- mining <br />herbaceous cover values in the calculations (as previously discussed with Graham Roberts) and to reflect <br />any changes due to removing parcel A -C -05. <br />If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me at 303.866.3567 (ext. 8113) or <br />Jared (ext. 8120). <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert D.
