It is understood that once land is released, Schmidt will no longer be able to disturb the
released land without first adding that land back into the permit via an amendment. Therefore,
considerable care will be exercised in defining exactly what land is included in the release
request.
DOCUMENTATION: The following procedures shall be used to document disturbances within
the entire Reclamation Permit area.
I. All disturbances plus the type and responsibility for disturbances shall be reported to the
Division in the annual report due March 28 of each year.
A. The map shall include previously released land in addition to the other information
required in the annual report.
B. A copy of the annual report will be provided to the Colorado State Board of Land
Commissioners. (This is already done.)
II. The annual report to the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners, due July 15 of each
year, shall also report this same information, with updating, as needed, for additional
disturbances made between March and July.
A. A copy of this annual report will be provided to the Division. (This is already done, as
required by the lease.)
III. Map data collection
A. Mapping of disturbances may be done with hand held GPS or other means with a
nominal accuracy of about 20 feet or less.
B. Maps provided by the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners showing oil and
gas disturbances may also be used as a source for annual report mapping.
Technical Revision - Coal Creek Resources - M- 1988 -044
11/22/11 final version Page 4 of 4
