As we discussed on your site visit November 1 to Nuvemco's Last Chance and <br />Monogram mines this mine was permitted in 2009 in accordance with DMO requirements of <br />Exhibit T — Designated Mining Operation Environmental Protection Plan. Nuvemco has <br />reviewed the requirements of the Exhibit U in the new Rules effective September 30, 2010 and <br />is of the opinion that environmental protections in their approved permit contain all the necessary <br />elements. Although no letter requiring an EPP update has been received by Nuvemco, this <br />letter is complying with step 1. of the procedures for operators as described in other letters from <br />Mr. Waldron dated September 30, 2011. <br />Please advise if you need any further information or documentation. <br />AMEC Environment and Infrastructure <br />
