Box 191 <br />Victor, CO 80860 <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />Re: Cresson Project; DRMS File No. M- 1980 -244; Technical Revision (TR -64) <br />Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Comer, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed your October 31, 2011 <br />request for a technical revision (TR -64), Process Solution Enhancement Circuit ( "PSE ") Liner <br />System Construction. The submittal was called complete for the purpose of filing on November <br />2, 2011. The decision date for TR -64 is December 2, 2011. Please be advised that if you are <br />unable to satisfactorily address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it <br />will be your responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are <br />outstanding issues that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, <br />and no extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />The following comments are based on the Division's review of the October 31, 2011 Request for <br />Technical Revision TR -64 and the six drawings submitted with it: <br />Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation <br />1) Page 2, last paragraph — The first sentence indicates CC &V is proving an updated <br />Drawing C -4 (Proposed Facilities Overburden and Mines) to show the location of the <br />PSE circuit lined facility. An Updated Drawing C -4 was not included in the submittal. <br />Please provide and updated Drawing C -4. <br />a) All Drawings ( #A100, A105, A110, A115, Al20, and Al25): <br />a. The drawings do not show the existing Phase I Liner Anchor trench beyond the <br />intersection of the existing anchor trench and the proposed liner anchor trench. <br />For the purpose of clarification, please show /extend the existing Phase I liner <br />anchor trench beyond the intersection of the two anchor trenches (i.e., towards the <br />northwest). <br />b. The drawings do not show the edge of the proposed liner along the northwest side <br />of the PSE area. Neither does Section A include the northwest edge.
