The
revision was called complete on November 22, 2011. The decision due date is January 21, 2012.
The revision provides an inventory of all of the areas of instability that were identified within the permit
boundary in 2011 and includes a proposed plan for mitigation and/or maintenance of those features. The
revision also documents that a portion of light use road LU -2 has been reclaimed and will not be retained
as an approved permanent road.
Aside from the existing slides around Pond 016 and Pond 016A, for which a mitigation plan has been
approved and currently being implemented, none of the instability features documented in this revision
are on lands owned by your family. This revision does not alter the approved plan for the Pond 016 area
slides. The light use road (LU -2) subject to this revision is located near the facilities area, on land owned
by Sage Creek Holdings, LLC.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Susan L.
