8.
Topsoil stockpiled on the west of the additional acres will be surrounded by silt fence until stabilized by
Dryland Pasture Mix. This mix consists of Tall Fescue, Perennial Rye Grass, Smooth Brome and Crested
Rye Grass. 150 to 200 cubic yards of topsoil is expected to stockpiled along the 1900 foot western edge.
9.
No inert structural fill will be imported from out of the current permit boundary to the site.
10.
No high walls will remain on site when reclamation is complete. A stepped approach will be necessary
in some areas because the remaining walls on the west boundary are solid rock. These walls are part of
our view shed agreement with Larimer County. The steps will be no higher than 3 feet each. The grade
of reclaimed area to the east will be a natural looking dip and rise to a more course rocky existing ridge.
11.
The reclaimed slope gradient will not exceed 15 degrees where possible. The existing grade is closer to
25 degrees at the eastern portion of the area. Because of the nature of the course stone /clay /shale
terrain, it historically holds the steeper grade.
12.
A soil test will be conducted prior to applying fertilizer.
13.
Livestock is currently fenced off from being in the quarry and the amendment area.
14.
The 32,000 cubic yards of topsoil is a typo. It should read 2,200 cubic yards.
EXHIBIT F
15.
A revised Reclamation Map overlaid on a USGS Topographic map of the Laporte Quadrangle is in the
packet. This map shows the gradient and covers A thru J as on the new Mining Map.
EXHIBIT G
16.
A copy of the Commercial Well Permit number 286460 is included in the packet. Please see number 1
above for the rest of the information.
EXHIBIT L
17.
The total volume of overburden to be replaced in the combined quarry area is 110,000 cubic yards. This
is the approximate 95,000 cubic yards in the 112 and 15,000 cubic yards in the amended area. The
overburden in the stockpiles closest to the pit is estimated at 20,000 cubic yards.
18.
Revised bond
EXHIBIT M
19.
