The purpose of the inspection <br />was to evaluate the on- the- ground condition with respect to Trapper Mine's mining and environmental protection <br />activities. Graham Roberts, Forrest Luke, and Billy Nicholson of TMI accompanied the inspection in the field. <br />The weather was cool and clear. The ground was partially snow covered on all three days. Mud was present in <br />the afternoons due to relatively warm temperatures. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />Roads and other activities were not a source of significant fugitive dust during the inspection. Water <br />trucks were being used during the inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The records were in compliance. See check list for details. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination <br />4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and <br />Gullies 4.14.6: <br />At the Ash Pit, significant backfilling and grading have occurred in recent weeks. <br />The F Pit was actively being backfilled with spoil material. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 18 <br />
