Compaction was achieved using a vibratory plate compactor and <br />laborers. The berm was constructed in accordance with design drawings and project <br />specifications. <br />e c, <br />B) Geomembrane <br />1) Geomembrane Installation <br />Geomembrane deployment, seaming, and repair /QC activities were performed. Approximately <br />6,071 square feet of 80mil LLDPE was deployed using a Komatsu 200 excavator and a John <br />Deere 544 front -end loader with spreader -bar attachments. Subgrade was inspected and <br />approved by AMEC and Lonestar representatives prior to geomembrane deployment. <br />Approximately 63 linear feet of seam was fusion welded using one fusion welding <br />machine /welding technician combination. One destructive test sample was marked during <br />fusion seaming. Approximately 374 linear feet of seam was extrusion welded using one <br />extrusion welding machine /welding technician combination. One destructive test sample was <br />marked during extrusion seaming. All destructive tests performed were within project <br />specifications. Non - destructive testing was performed for fusion welded seams. Repairs were <br />PIVCBR Weekly Report WE 10.29.2011 <br />
