The Applicant requested the Division reduce the amount of required bond to reflect the <br />actual area disturbed. The Division has reviewed the request and suggests a reclamation <br />bond amount of $5,000, based on 2.5 acres of disturbance at $2,000 per acre. <br />COLORADO <br />D I V I S I O N O F <br />RECLAMATION <br />MINING <br />— &— <br />SAFETY <br />John Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the content of Harry <br />Corkle Construction 110c - Reclamation Only adequacy response letter dated November 7, <br />2011 for the Corkle Construction Pit #2, File No. M- 2011 -033, and submits the following <br />comments. The Division is required to make an approval or denial decision no later than <br />November 19, 2011 therefore; a response to the following adequacy review concerns should be <br />submitted to the Division as soon as possible. <br />The review consisted of comparing the application content with specific requirements of Rule 3, <br />6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.5 of the Minerals Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for the Extraction of Construction Materials. <br />Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan Map (Rule 6.3.5) <br />2. The stated average thickness of replaced topsoil on the reclamation map (6 ") differs from <br />the 4 -6" of replaced topsoil in the reclamation plan. Please explain or correct this <br />discrepancy. <br />Exhibit I - Proof of Filing with County Clerk (6.3.9) <br />3. The Division did not receive a signed and dated copy of the Proof of Placing the Corrected <br />Permit Application Exhibits with the County Clerk and Recorder's Office form.
