The deposit averages 27 feet in <br />thickness and is thicker near the Arkansas River and shallower away from the River. <br />The overburden is sandy silt, sandy loam, and sandy clay. The overburden averages 10 <br />feet thick and is shallower near the Arkansas River and thicker away from the River. <br />(ii) The bedrock stratum beneath the sand and gravel is Pierre Shale. <br />(g) The primary commodity mined is sand and gravel, which will be used for structural <br />fill, construction aggregate, and concrete aggregate. <br />No secondary commodities are mined. <br />(h) No incidental products are mined. <br />• (i) No explosives will be used with the mining. <br />
