OXBOW MINING, LLC
3737 Hwy 133 P.O. Box 535 Somerset, Colorado 81434 USA Tel (970)929 -5122 Fax
(970)929 -5177
November 9, 2011
Mr. Brock Bowles
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, Co. 80203
Re: 2009 Annual Hydrology Report
Response to November 3, 2011 PAR
Permit C- 1981 -022, Oxbow Mining, LLC
Dear Mr. Bowles:
R CENLD
NGV 11 nil
Divisiul I u,
Mining and Saf,
The following information provides a response to the Division's November 3, 2011 PAR of the 2009
AHR for Oxbow Mining, LLC.
1. The C - HN - S - and B -1 stream monitoring sites are located on ephemeral drainages. As
such, the streams did not flow during the third quarter of 2009, thus no samples were available.
2. The data sheets for the subject parameters are provided as the last page of the NF -1 and NF -3 data
sheet section.
3. Please see page 13 of the report for a discussion regarding the transfer of water from the D -seam
workings to the B -seam workings.
4. Please see the attached copies of the noted pages for the Division's records. It appears the yellow
and light blue colors do not copy well on a standard copier. We will choose a darker color for future
reports.
5. Please refer to the USGS Gauging Station data located at the front of the data table section for the
Hubbard Creek flow information.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions concerning the contents of the report.
Sincerely,
mes A.
