Snowcap Coat Com- pany is also requesting su9pen- sion of surface water monitoring point SWGS -08 and approval to retain specific diversion ditcttea located at the North Decline as permanent features,_, _ - The Roadside Portals la a un- :derground coal mine located in Mesa County, approximately 5 miles north of Palisade Cot& rado. Coal Interest Is Federal and private, and the surface affected Is Federal and private 'land. The permit area encom, passes approximately 2,788.80 acres. This proposed decision Is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all re- quirements of the Colorado Sur- face Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations pro - mulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed deci- sion, including stipulations, are on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Recla- mation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colo- _ rado 80203. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed deci- sion may request a formal hear- - ing before the Mined Land Rec- lamation Board on the proposed decision.
