Box 60340 Grand Junction, CO 81506 RE: North Thompson Creek Mine, Permit No. C- 1981 -025 Technical Revision 26 (TR -26) Adequacy Questions Dear Mr. Stover: The Division received your application for TR -26 on September 26, 2011 and deemed it complete on October 5, 2011. We have reviewed your application and have the following questions: 1. The reference to Tab 4 in note number 10 of submitted Drawing D -2 -5 should be changed to Appendix 4 -B. In order to reduce costs, the correction can be handwritten on the drawings by Minrec and the Division rather than providing new, revised drawings. However, if this drawing is revised in some future revision, the correction should be formally made on the drawing at that time. 2. Please revise page P -9 -9 of Appendix 4 -B to include a reference to the newly designed open channel section between pond T -2 and outfall 001. Also, please revise page P -9 -10 of Appendix 4 -B to include an addition to the P.E. certification for the recent TR -26 design modification.
